Camille Sears

Applied Environmental Meteorologist

Welcome to my contact page.

I am an atmospheric scientist, specializing in applied environmental meteorology.  I study and apply the atmospheric sciences to quantify how human activities affect public health and our environment.

I have over 40 years of regulatory and private-sector experience in air dispersion modeling, emission rate calculations, health risk assessments, meteorological monitoring, and geographic information systems.  I specialize in litigation support, having provided expert testimony in numerous cases since 1990.

As a designated expert, I have been part of notable environmental mass tort actions, including the following:

Such cases apply highly complex methods to quantify air emissions and subsequent human exposures, yet must be conveyed in understandable terms to the triers of fact.  Also necessary is an understanding of the legal landscape, including discovery, expert reports, depositions, Daubert and other challenges, Rule 706 experts, trial testimony, and post-trial motions.  I have extensive experience in all of these matters, and have been a designated expert witness in cases involving tens of thousands of individual Plaintiffs.

If you would like to speak to me about potential cases or projects, please feel free to contact me at (971) 371-1954 or email.
